Job Description
The Production Lead oversees a crew of four manufacturing laborers on 2nd shift in a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on working lead role that involves supervising daily operations while actively participating in material handling, product measurement, general housekeeping, and packing tasks. The position focuses on processing carbon used in respirators and water filtration systems and requires someone who can adapt quickly to changing production needs and is comfortable working in a physically active, dirty environment with moderate lifting up to approximately 30 pounds.

Work Environment
The role is based in a production plant on the east side of Columbus that manufactures carbon used in respirators and water filtration systems. The environment can be dirty due to the carbon process, and temperatures may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Despite these conditions, the facility is kept very clean and well maintained, with a strong emphasis on safety and proper operation of equipment. Work is performed on 2nd shift, typically from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced setting that involves physical activity, material handling, and machine operation.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
